Crimson Panda are proud to be working with Broadway gaming to hire for a QA- Data Warehouse:
As a QA- Data Warehouse, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data warehouse and associated data pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify and report data quality issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data warehouse processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of the data warehouse.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to understand data requirements, transformations, and ETL processes.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity across different data sources and systems.
- Identify and document data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies, and work closely with the development team to investigate and resolve them.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to extract, manipulate, and analyse data for testing purposes.
- Design and execute performance testing and optimization activities to ensure the scalability and efficiency of the data warehouse.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new data warehouse features and enhancements.
- Continuously monitor data warehouse performance and data quality metrics, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the QA team and participate in overall QA activities, including test strategy development, test automation, and defect management.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and quality assurance and recommend process improvements and new tools to optimize testing activities.
- Work with Azure platform to upload test plans, test cases and scripts.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in quality assurance and testing within a data warehousing or business intelligence environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts, with the ability to write complex queries and perform data validation and reconciliation.
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modelling, and data governance principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with test management tools and test automation frameworks is a plus.
