**Responsibilities**:

- To Install, maintain and repair cooling and ventilation of HVAC systems and equipment
- To assess system requirements, connecting equipment and ensure systems operate efficiently
- To diagnose and repair systems, install new systems and ductwork, to identify malfunctions, faulty components, or performance issues
- To perform repairs for cooling, dehumidification, to remove moisture out of the air in the hospital air conditioning units
- To ensure optimal functioning of HVAC equipment
- To clean, adjust and repairing systems, and perform periodic maintenance services
- To perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating motors, and inspecting electrical connections
- Must use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance, temperature differentials, airflow, and electrical connections
- Adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines when performing AC installations, repairs, or maintenance
- To perform periodic rounds to all area to support equipment and maintains operating log of conditions observed and implement in preventive maintenance work
- To update the work order log book and inform the Engineering control desk on the status of work done

**Job Specifications**
- Must have ITI -Air Conditioning and Refrigeration course completed
- Must have strong understanding of HVAC systems in Hospitals
- Ability to use various tools, power tools and testing equipment
- Must be willing to work in shifts
