Job responsibilities:

LAN amp; WAN administration and troubleshooting Infrastructure ndash;
- Maintain the company#39;s network and connections to the Intranet, Extranet and Internet. Ensure optimal configuration and use of the network, Intranet and Internet connections.
- Maintain a highly available infrastructure for power, Internet connectivity and servers.
- Should have hands on experience in switching, routing, firewalls, Cisco devices (Desirable). Advanced Knowledge of Fortinet Firewalls to maintain and design the network both LAN amp; WAN (Subnetting, VLANS), security (implementing ACLs Standard amp; Extended), QoS and configuring VPNs on IPSec (Remote and Site to Site), encryption algorithms, port forwarding, log analysis.
- Maintain the security of the IT network infrastructure against viruses, spyware and malware attacks, and strong working knowledge of Kaspersky/Symantec centrally manageable console to keep the systems virus free.
- Provide technical support to troubleshoot problems. Mandatory to maintain the Change/Risk management and configuration management as per ISMS 27001 standards.
- Ready to be a part of vendor selections and negotiate contracts for the acquisition and maintenance of hardware, software and network services/enforce software licensing compliance/Support services i.e. AMCs.
- Mandatory to keep and maintain the schedules for preventive maintenance by performing the upgradation of firmwares, patching, cabling, and marking of all network devices in time.
- Network segregation, enhancement, planning by representing the Network layout diagrams.
