Job Description Role- Network Admin Description We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security. Responsibilities - Designing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls. - Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal operation. - Implementing security measures to safeguard the network from unauthorized access and threats. - Managing network documentation and updating network diagrams and inventory. - Collaborating with other IT teams to support application and system performance. - Conducting regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with best practices. Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5-15 years of experience in network administration or related roles. - Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). - Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco devices and other networking equipment. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies. - Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
