**Role Overview**

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Account Intern** to join our team at The Fern Residency, Vadodara. This internship offers a hands-on learning opportunity in the hospitality industry, with exposure to financial operations, accounting processes, and reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Financial Transactions**: Assist in managing daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
- **Invoicing and Billing**: Help with generating invoices, processing payments, and ensuring timely billing for guests and vendors.
- **Data Entry**: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
- **Inventory Management Support**: Assist in tracking and reconciling inventory records in collaboration with other departments.
- **Audit Support**: Prepare documentation and reports required for internal and external audits.
- **Tax and Compliance**: Provide support in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- **Reporting**: Contribute to preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
- **Team Collaboration**: Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve discrepancies.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- **Education**: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**: Basic knowledge of accounting principles; proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
- **Communication**: Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a professional environment.
- **Time Management**: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
