**Job Title: Account Trainee**
**Location: The Fern Residency Hotel, Vadodara**
**Department: Finance & Accounts**
**Reports To: Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant**

**Job Summary**:
The Fern Residency Hotel, Vadodara, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Account Trainee** to join our Finance & Accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in hotel accounting. The trainee will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the accounts department in day-to-day operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support the accounts team in processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Help in reconciling bank statements and daily transaction reports.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
- Verify and process employee expense claims and vendor bills.
- Support payroll processing and maintain employee financial records.
- Ensure compliance with hotel accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist in inventory management and cost control activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized filing of financial documents.
- Support during internal and external audits as required.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA-Finance preferred)**.
- Basic knowledge of **accounting principles and Tally ERP/other accounting software**.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in **MS Excel** (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

**Experience**:

- **Freshers are welcome**; prior internship experience in accounting/finance is a plus.
