We are currently seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team specializing in water treatment. As

a Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of

mechanical components and equipment used in water treatment systems. Your expertise

will ensure the proper functioning and reliability of water treatment infrastructure,

contributing to the delivery of safe and clean water to communities and industries.

**Key Responsibilities:Installation and Assembly**:

- **Equipment Installation**: Install and assemble mechanical equipment and systems according to engineering specifications and safety standards.
- **Component Fitting**: Fit, align, and adjust mechanical components, including pumps, motors, valves, pipes, and tanks.

**Maintenance and Repair**:

- **Routine Maintenance**: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
- **Repairs**: Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

**Fabrication and Modification**:

- **Fabrication**: Fabricate and modify parts as needed, using tools such as lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute accurate mechanical work.

**Quality Control and Safety**:

- **Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations while performing mechanical work.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

**Collaboration and Support**:

- **Team Coordination**: Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure mechanical systems support overall process requirements.
- **Client Interaction**: Provide technical support and guidance to clients during equipment installation and troubleshooting.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- **Upgrades**: Identify opportunities for improving mechanical systems and processes, recommending upgrades and modifications.
- **Training**: Stay current with advancements in mechanical technologies and participate in training programs to enhance skills.

**Qualifications:Education and Experience**:

- **Education**: Diploma or certification in Mechanical Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in the water or wastewater treatment industry.

**Technical Skills**:

- **Mechanical Proficiency**: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and piping used in wastewater treatment.
- **Tool Use**: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools for fitting and fabrication.
- **Blueprints**: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
