**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and structured online lessons in **Media Studies** aligned with the **Cambridge/Edexcel A-Level curriculum**.
- Teach key topics such as media language, representation, media industries, and audiences across different platforms (film, television, digital media, print, advertising, etc.).
- Encourage independent thinking and analysis through multimedia content, discussion, and assignments.
- Use a variety of digital tools and learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Padlet, etc.) to support teaching and assessment.
- Prepare and evaluate formative and summative assessments, including exam-style questions and project work.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and maintain regular communication with parents or guardians as needed.
- Track student progress, identify learning gaps, and implement strategies for academic support.
- Stay updated with current media trends, A-Level syllabus changes, and best practices in online pedagogy.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Media Studies, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum **1-2 years of experience teaching A-Level Media Studies** (online).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Digital fluency and comfort with online teaching tools.
- Ability to foster a creative, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.

**Preferred**:

- Familiarity with **Cambridge International (CIE) or Edexcel A-Level syllabi**.
- Experience mentoring students for external examinations.
- Background in film production, journalism, or digital media (added advantage).
- Must have a working laptop, stable internet connection and a pen-tab.
