**Reports To**: Site Manager / Project Manager

**Job Purpose**

Assist in managing materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site/store, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issue, and record-keeping of inventory to support smooth project operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Material Handling & Storage**
- Receive, check, and verify materials delivered to the site/store against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage of construction materials, tools, and equipment to prevent damage or loss.
- Label and organize materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
- **Inventory Management**
- Maintain up-to-date stock registers (manual or ERP-based) for all materials.
- Track daily material inflow and outflow, and update records accurately.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
- **Material Issuance**
- Issue materials to site teams based on material requisition slips.
- Ensure correct quantity and quality of materials are issued to prevent wastage.
- **Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain proper records of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Requisition Note), and other store documents.
- Submit daily/weekly stock reports to Store In-Charge/Project Manager.
- Assist in reconciliation of stock with accounts and procurement teams.
- **Compliance & Safety**
- Follow safety protocols in handling and storing hazardous materials.
- Ensure the store area is kept clean, organized, and secured.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Knowledge of construction materials and inventory practices.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP software preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum 12th / Diploma in Civil or relevant field.
- 4 years + of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in construction.
