**Position**: Junior Tool Designer

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tool Design**:

- Assist in designing and developing tools, jigs, gauges, and fixtures for sheet metal production processes.
- Ensure precision and accuracy in tool designs to meet production and quality standards.
- **Drawing & Modeling**:

- Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models of tools and fixtures using design software.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the designs are feasible and meet manufacturing requirements.
- **Tool Modification & Improvement**:

- Analyze and improve existing tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and modifying tools as required to improve product quality.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with engineers, machinists, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate tool development.
- Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure tools meet product specifications.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain records of tool designs, modifications, and improvements.
- Prepare and submit reports on tool performance and any design-related issues.

**Key Skills and Competencies**:

- Proficiency in designing tools, gauges, fixtures, and jigs for sheet metal processes.
- Experience in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in the sheet metal industry.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to design challenges.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in tool design, specifically in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in tool design for sheet metal companies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)
