You will collaborate with various teams to align technology strategies with business goals, ensuring seamless data integration and decision-making. The role could be based anywhere in Europe, either from one of our global sites or remotely. The role will require you to travel internationally at times. **Tasks and responsibilities**: - Develop and maintain architectural documentation. - Architect end-to-end Azure Data Platforms (Data Lakes, Warehouses, Databricks, BI) to support data analytics. - Evaluate and recommend technologies that support the organization's data strategy. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data and BI teams. - Oversee solution delivery to ensure alignment with business requirements. - Define and enforce data governance and security protocols. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic objectives. - Conduct technology risk assessments. - Stay updated on emerging technology trends. - Support data-related roadmaps and strategies. - Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and transformation. - Experience with data quality and data lineage solutions. - Collaborate with vendors and partners. - Participate in project planning and resource allocation. **What you'll bring**: You're not just technically savvy; you also possess effective communication and collaboration within the Azure ecosystem. Proficiency in spoken and written English comes naturally to you. You're skilled in using data modeling tools like Visio, visualizing metadata and database schemas to facilitate efficient data architecture design and documentation.
