**Description and Requirements**:
**Position Description**:
Lenovo is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect who will play a key role in supporting the development and deployment of IaaS and PaaS-related service offerings.
- This role is primarily internal but includes some customer-facing work.
- This is a remote-only role.

**In this role you will**:

- Support the Hybrid Cloud Services Practice in developing and delivering IaaS and PaaS service offerings.
- Work with the world's largest Enterprise and Cloud companies and drive the "voice of the Enterprise" (customer and market requirements) into the product roadmap and new technology development.
- Work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
- Work across internal teams, divisions, and external partners to develop and deliver solutions that drive new technology innovations and revenue for Intel.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, and be willing to engage and interface with all levels of an organization.
- Drive senior-level relationships across Large Enterprises, Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), OEMs, System Integrators, and other ecosystem partners.
- Be the technical lead for VMWare-based IaaS and PaaS offerings, working closely with the Hybrid Cloud Practice leader throughout the service offering lifecycle, including:

- oAssisting in the creation of new service offerings, starting with participation in the brainstorming phase, and providing expert guidance- oAssisting/leading early implementations with Technical Consultants- Presentation delivery in support of:

- oOur offering development process- oField enablement/training- oService delivery activities- Assist in documentation of project requirements, statements of work, and service descriptions
- Some business partner interaction

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or equivalent experience required
- 7+ years of Cloud Architecting experience of large-scale systems with a minimum of 5+ years of experience with at least one cloud platform like VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Proven experience with designing, developing and delivering global scale platforms for Software-defined data centers, containers technologies in the industry (Docker, Kubernetes, Calico, etc), DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools.
- Should have designed and implemented IaaS and PaaS solutions and platforms to cater to SLA requirements - multi-AZ/ multi-site architecture. (RTO/RPO objectives)
- VCDX - VMWare Certified Design Expert, Cloud Management and Automation.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience building infrastructure strategy and reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios.
- Experience in the design, implementation, and deployment of highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments.
- Programming/Scripting experience with Yaml, Python, Shell; configuration management/orchestration tools like Terraform, Saltstack, Ansible, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitOps, etc.
- Understanding of Load Balancers, Software-defined networks (subnets, NATs, Gateways), CDN, HTTP1/2, Storage systems, Security (Authentication/Authorization, SSL); Firewall (L4-7), CDN, etc.
- Understanding of Infrastructure & Application monitoring
- Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering techniques
- Experience in the definition, scoping, selling, delivery, and management of cloud infrastructure migration, implementation, operations, and optimization initiatives
- Market experience in one or more of the following: financial services, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing, energy, consumer products, high-tech, media & entertainment, and automotive
- Understanding of the relationship between various open-source software and hardware components
