**Job Description:

Recent technology advances in high-density, byte-addressable non-volatile memory (NVM) and low-latency memory-semantic interconnects have enabled building large-scale systems with a large disaggregated fabric-attached memory pool shared across decentralized compute nodes.

**Roles & Responsibilities:

- **
- Building and/or extending large scale system simulator tools to support novel persistent fabric-attached memory architectures.
- Building and/or extending large scale simulator tools to expose APIs that enable programming with fabric-attached memory.

We value a strong background in mathematics, computer science and engineering; excellent software development skills; excellent performance evaluation skills; the ability to work independently and in teams; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the desire to learn new techniques to solve problems.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- A very high level of coding and debugging skills in conventional languages ( C++). Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl also a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in both the use and creation of distributed large-scale simulation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop and debug large complex software systems.
- Strong background in algorithms, performance analysis and tuning.
- Skills in these areas are also a plus:

- Broad familiarity with processor and memory system hardware architectures and interconnect topologies.
- Ability to understand the impact of software architectural design decisions on system performance, fault tolerance and usability.
- Familiarity and experience with complex memory models (e.g., persistent memory).
- Demonstrated ability to work constructively in an open source community.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

10-14 years in HPC and/or System Software

Any BE, Btech, Mtech with relevant experience.
