**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Test Planning and Strategy**:

- Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements, specifications, and business needs.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on system requirements and project goals.
- **Manual and Automated Testing**:

- Design and execute automated test scripts using testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- **Defect Management**:

- Identify, document, and report defects found during testing, tracking their progress and resolution.
- Perform regression testing and verify bug fixes to ensure they do not affect existing functionality.
- **System Performance Testing**:

- **Test Documentation**:

- Document test results, summarize findings, and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure proper version control and traceability of test activities and outcomes.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other IT staff to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint meetings, provide feedback, and ensure testing efforts align with project timelines.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Suggest improvements in the testing process and share best practices to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and trends to ensure high-quality outputs.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as an IT Tester, Software Tester, QA Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with both manual and automated testing practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, TestNG).
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), especially the testing phase.
- Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) is a plus.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems and testing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
