**Role Overview**:
The Interim Chartered Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing key financial processes and reports, with a focus on leveraging S4 HANA for financial management, ROC compliance, and MIS reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Management**:

- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
- Utilize S4 HANA for efficient financial management and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- **ROC Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to ROC (Registrar of Companies) compliance requirements and manage necessary filings and documentation.
- Prepare and submit periodic ROC reports and ensure timely updates for any regulatory changes.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to address any ROC-related queries or issues.
- **Management Information Systems (MIS) Reporting**:

- Develop and produce regular MIS reports to provide insights into financial performance, operational efficiency, and key metrics.
- Analyze and interpret data to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Work with various departments to gather data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- **Internal Controls and Audits**:

- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
- **Financial Analysis and Planning**:

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial projections and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial performance trends and identify areas for cost reduction or process improvement.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and support to senior management and other stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Chartered Accountant (Inter CA) qualification is mandatory.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on S4 HANA, ROC compliance, and MIS reporting in a manufacturing environment.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in S4 HANA and other financial management software.
- Strong understanding of ROC compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced skills in MIS reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
