MATRON FOR A GIRLS HOME / HOSTEL.

Seva Sadan a 116-year-old non-profit organization based in Gamdevi, Mumbai is registered as a Trust and run by an elected Managing Committee working voluntarily. The services the Society offers include:

- A Residential Home for underprivileged girls (ages 8 to 18)
- Schools in Marathi and English medium

The Residential Home

Capacity : 100 girls.

Scope of Activity : Providing lodging, boarding and a holistic education.

Requirement

24 hour ( Live-in) Matron ( Females only).

Responsibilities and Duties of the Matron

1. Admissions

2. Administration work.

3. Maintaining discipline and order in the Home.

4. Handling all projects, initiatives, extra curricular activities and events which come under the purview of the Home, and overseeing its smooth function.

5. Medicals and Nutrition of the Home residents.

6. All other matters relating to the Home.

Qualification : Graduate with preferably a degree in Social Work.

Experience : Minimum of 2 years.

Skills Required : Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Empathetic, tactful, a good listener and a firm understanding of confidentiality and discretion. Ability to handle young adults. Hindi, Marathi and English language skill with basic grasp of computers will be an added bonus.

Salary : Commensurate with experience and qualification.

Job Type : Full time.

Pay : Starting salary ₹25000/- to ₹28,000/- and upwards, based on qualification and experience

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
