Machine Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor large-format digital printing machines (eco-solvent, solvent, UV, flex, vinyl, etc.).
- Set up print jobs according to job specifications and artwork requirements.
- Perform regular machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to avoid downtime.
- Ensure print quality by adjusting color profiles, resolution settings, and material handling.
- Manage inventory of printing materials like media rolls, inks, laminates, etc.
- Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Perform quality checks on printed materials before delivery or further processing.
- Keep detailed production records, including machine logs and output reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the printing workspace.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental standards during all operations.

**Requirements**:

- 2-5 years of experience operating large format digital printing machines.
- Familiarity with machines like HP, Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, Colorjet, or similar brands.
- Knowledge of RIP software such as Wasatch, Onyx, or FlexiPRINT is an advantage.
- Understanding of colour calibration, file setup, and media types.
- Ability to identify and correct minor machine issues independently.
- Good physical stamina to handle printing materials and machine operations.
- Attention to detail, a sense of responsibility, and time management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if required.
