Develop Induction & Orientation Programs & impart knowledge & skill to every new nursing employee - Develop Competency & Privileging sheets for each of the departments / units & implement as defined - Develop tools for Risk assessment & Mitigation of risk e.g. Falls, Pressure Ulcers, Medication errors, accidental removal of lines & tubes etc. - Demonstrate / facilitate demonstration of Clinical procedures related to clinical procedures done in Wards, Critical areas, Chemotherapy, Dialysis, Operation Theatres, Endoscopy & Outpatient areas. - Well versed with accreditation standards & processes based on these guidelines - Adherence to Infection Control Policies & Biomedical waste segregation - Competent to identify & handle medical emergencies - skilled in providing BLS, ACLS, NALS< PALS etc. - Competent to demonstrate & develop skills in Intravenous cannulation amongst the nurses - Identification & Management of various codes within the organization - Arranging of Seminars, Workshops & Conferences within the organization - To enhance knowledge, critical thinking, skills & competence of nurses who provide care on the clinical units. - To develop, implement & evaluate clinical based education to meet the competency & learning needs of all levels of nurses. - To enhance patient safety, risk management & patient care within the clinical unit in collaboration with Sister in Charges & other stakeholders - To organise workshops, Seminars & Conferences in collaboration with all stakeholders. - To maintain documents pertaining to training imparted & competencies developed amongst nurses; which shall help in privileging the nurses.
