**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and education to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety activities, incidents, and training.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working as a Safety Officer or similar role in a [industry/sector] environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
