**Role Overview**:
The IT Compliance Officer ensures that the organization’s IT operations comply with SEBI regulations, internal cybersecurity policies, and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) standards. The role includes conducting audits, managing compliance records, utilizing open
- source tools, and coordinating with external regulators.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and internal cybersecurity policies. o Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance

actions.
2. **Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)**:

- Develop, enforce, and monitor GRC frameworks to ensure IT processes align with governance standards.
- Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.

3. **Internal Audits**:

- Conduct IT audits to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and GRC

standards.
- Assist in the development of audit processes, procedures, and documentation.

4. **Security Awareness**:

- Collaborate with teams to raise awareness of cybersecurity risks and best

practices.
- Develop training programs and materials to enhance employees' understanding

of security and compliance
- Have a good idea about Phishing Simulation tools and how to use them.

5. **Open-Source Tools**:

- Use open-source tools such as **OpenVAS** (vulnerability scanning), **Open phish**

(Phishing scanning), **Microsoft Office 365 Defender** (Phishing scanning) o Regularly update and maintain the tools to ensure compliance with industry

standards.
6. **Record Management**:

- Maintain detailed records of all compliance activities, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure documentation is current and easily accessible for internal and external reviews.

7. **Policy Enforcement**:

- Work with the IT and security teams to ensure compliance with internal

cybersecurity policies.
- Help design and enforce security policies across the organization. o Create Policy and giving awareness to employees

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with open-source compliance tools or security tools.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies.
