**Job Description - Beam Saw Operator (HOMAG)**
- **Position**: Beam Saw Operator (HOMAG Panel Saw Machine)
- **Department**: Production / Woodworking
- **Reports**: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager

**Role Summary**

The Beam Saw Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the HOMAG Beam Saw machine to cut panels (MDF, particle board, plywood, laminates, etc.) as per production requirements. The role involves interpreting cutting lists, optimizing material usage, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate the **HOMAG Beam Saw** machine efficiently to cut boards into required sizes.
- Read and interpret **cutting lists, work orders, and technical drawings**.
- Perform **programming and nesting** using machine software for optimal panel cutting.
- Conduct **quality checks** on dimensions, edges, and surface finish.
- Minimize material waste through effective cutting plans and proper handling.
- Carry out **daily machine maintenance** (cleaning, lubrication, blade checks).
- Ensure adherence to **safety standards** and proper use of PPE.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical and software issues on the beam saw.
- Maintain accurate **production records** (cutting time, material used, wastage).
- Collaborate with CNC, Edge Banding, and other downstream processes to ensure smooth workflow.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Experience in operating **HOMAG Beam Saw** or similar woodworking machinery.
- Basic knowledge of **panel sizing, nesting, and optimization software.**:

- Ability to read **technical drawings and cutting list**s. Strong attention to detail and **quality focus.**:

- Mechanical aptitude to handle basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of **safety procedures in woodworking production**.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum **High School / ITI / Diploma in Woodworking, Mechanical, or related field**.
- 3 years’ experience as a **Beam Saw / Panel Saw operator**, preferably on **HOMAG machines.**:

- Salary**: up to 30,000 (Depends on experience)**:

- Training or certification on **CNC woodworking machinery**(added advantage).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Walk-In

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
