Job Title : Purchase Executive/Trainee - Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Location : Bengaluru
Department : Supply Chain Management
Reports To : SCM Manager
Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive in Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for managing the
procurement of raw materials, components, and services required for the manufacturing
process. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining
inventory levels, and optimizing costs while adhering to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Management:

- Source and procure raw materials, components, and services from local and
- international suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective

procurement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.

2. Inventory Control:3. Supplier Management:company standards.4. Cost Optimization:

- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production schedules.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to manage inventory effectively.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to supplier deliveries and quality.
- Analyse market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising on quality.
- Prepare and present cost analysis reports to management.

5. Order Management:

- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Track and expedite orders as necessary to meet production timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- 6. Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory
- Maintain thorough documentation of all procurement transactions and supplier
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
- Work closely with the production, quality assurance, and finance teams to align
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in the supply
