**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Business Development and Strategic Partnerships**
- Identify potential clients, donors, and funding opportunities through exhaustive market research.
- Engage and foster strategic partnerships with various stakeholders, including local and international organizations, to support ASSIST's mission.
- Prepare and present new business and partnership proposals by highlighting our strengths in achieving notable social impact.
- Oversee the negotiation process, contract finalization, and ensure compliance with client and donor requirements. Represent the organization at local and global forums, meetings, events, and conferences, enhancing brand recognition and fostering awareness of ASSIST's work.

**Research and Proposal Writing**
- Serve as the primary writer for grant proposals and bids, focusing on articulation, clarity, and persuasive communication.
- Organize and manage proposal schedules, coordinating efforts across teams, including regional offices and external partners.
- Maintain and update databases regularly, ensuring the integrity and relevance of the information for acquisition efforts.

**Program Support and Relationship Management**
- Build and maintain linkages with beneficiary groups, community partners, and other stakeholders to support effective project implementation.
- Collaborate with the Research and Acquisitions team and other business units to enhance operational efficiency and resource development.
- Continuously monitor and understand ASSIST's impact goals, strategic direction, and achievements to effectively communicate them to partners.

**Secondary & Cross-Cutting Responsibilities**
- Work with cross-BU partners and other stakeholders to provide tools, resources and other materials that support all resource development efforts.
- Attend and represent the organization at online and offline meetings, events, and conferences to grow the brand recognition and awareness of ASSIST
- Maintain current and thorough understanding of ASSIST’S impact goals and strategic direction, focus areas, successes and overall results to effectively communicate to partners and/or during ASSIST events, meetings.

**Requirements**:

- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Development courses, Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or other similar courses.
- Keen interest in development work and being part of creating sustainable impact
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with creative bent and commercial awareness.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with a proficiency in negotiating.
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in attention to detail, time management, and coordination of multiple clients simultaneously.
- Highly professional attitude, responsible, independent, able to work in fast-paced environments and meet urgent deadlines
- Adapt at analyzing, breaking down, organizing, and articulating complex ideas, concept, and instructions in written and verbal mediums

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
