Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor

Location: Sreechand specialty Hospital, Kannur

Qualification : B.Sc Hospitality management / culinary arts/

Experience : Min 1 Year in Health care (preferred).

Job Summary:
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of food and beverage service within the hospital premises. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the provision of high-quality, nutritious meals to patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards. Additionally, you will supervise a team of kitchen and dining staff, coordinate food production and service schedules, and liaise with various departments to meet dietary requirements and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hospital's food and beverage department, including meal preparation, service, and cleanup.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hygiene standards set by local health authorities.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of patients, taking into account dietary restrictions and cultural preferences.
- Train and motivate kitchen and dining staff to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and dining facilities, reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
- Coordinate with nursing and dietary staff to accommodate special dietary requirements and communicate any changes or updates to the kitchen team.
- Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas to identify and address any potential health or safety hazards.
- Manage budgets and expenses related to food and beverage operations, seeking cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Address any customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly and effectively.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in the food and beverage industry, implementing new ideas or strategies as appropriate.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
