Job description
- A thorough understanding of the technology and IT systems.
- Planning, researching, and designing security architectures.
- Developing, reviewing, and approving the installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, ID/IPS and related network devices.
- designing public key infrastructures, certification authorities, and digital signatures
- Developing project timelines for system upgrades and preparing cost estimates.
- Testing the final security system and updating and upgrading it as needed.
- Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting DR drills.
- Monitoring and guiding the security team.
- up to date knowledge with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.
- Network security architecture and its development on **cloud environment**:

- An understanding of the ISO 27001/27002, GDPR, and ITIL frameworks are required.
- Third-party auditing skills and cloud risk assessment methodologies.
- Align organizational security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and technology strategy
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
- Solution approach using security products and standards

Environment understanding
- Traditional infrastructure systems
- Security tools and controls based on ISO 27001
- Cloud technology (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- web protocol standards (REST, RPC, SOAP)
- Unix/Linux

Experience
- Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability
- Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization
- Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook
- Should have executed at least five security implementation projects
- A bachelor's or associate degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
- **Security certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead auditor/implementor**:

- 8-10 years' experience in information security and IT security products/tools.
