**Job Title**: Storekeeper

**Department**: Stores / Procurement
**Reports To**: Purchase Manager / Accounts Manager
**Supervises**: Store Assistants (if any)

**Job Summary**:
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels of all hotel supplies, ensuring that goods are properly received, stored, and issued to relevant departments. The role ensures the accuracy of stock records and compliance with hotel standards and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of all incoming goods.
- Store items in an organized and secure manner based on category and usage.
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management software or manual logs.
- Issue items to departments as per requisition forms and update stock accordingly.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and alert the Purchase Manager when reordering is needed.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance in the storage area.
- Label items clearly and ensure proper rotation of perishable items (FIFO method).
- Handle inventory audits and assist with month-end reporting.
- Maintain documentation for all goods received and issued for internal and audit purposes.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in storekeeping or inventory management is a plus.
- Storekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Basic knowledge of inventory software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading.
- Honest, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of food safety and storage guidelines (for relevant items).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
