**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
The purpose of this role is to support the Planning Engineer with planning, scheduling, control and monitoring activities of the projects in hand and supporting the tendering department for bidding new project.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Planning & Scheduling**:
Review the project contract documents to understand the project scope and requirements.
Support the collection and organization of relevant project documentation.
Coordination with different departments to collect valid inputs for project planning.
Support in preparation of project delivery strategy to finalize the baseline program.
Support in developing detailed project program as per Client project control requirements.
Support in developing engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation trackers.
- **Monitoring & Reporting**:
Monitoring and recording project activities throughout all the disciplines.
Updating approved baseline program as per project control requirements to reflect actual progress.
Record and compile data on construction activities, including work completed, materials used etc.
Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports regarding construction progress and potential challenges.
Assist in maintaining detailed and organized records of construction activities, changes, and site conditions.
Assist in preparation of Daily, Weekly & Monthly progress reports as per Client project control requirements.
- **Project Control**:
Assist in documenting issues, challenges, or changes encountered during the construction process.
Support the reporting of any non-compliance issues and work with the project team to address them.
Collaborate with other project team members to address issues and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
Attending project meetings to provide support and updates on construction progress.
- **Cost and Commercial**:
Assist in preparation of cashflow forecasts internal and external.
Assist in management of change orders or variation order requests.
- **Other Duties**:
Assist in preparation of tender schedule and other tendering requirements for planning.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
Preparation of presentations for Client meetings and managing meeting minutes.
Shall manage internal project meetings for reporting and data collection.
Assist in recording and notifying project delays and preparation of claims.
Assist in raising contractual notices and letters.
**QUALIFICATION**
Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Any Project Management Certification is a Plus.
**EXPERIENCE**
At least 1-3 years of professional experience in Planning & Project Control.
**SKILLS**
- Must be effective communicator with excellent Communication & presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and develop organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work under the guidance of senior staff and as part of a team.
