Job Title: Retail Sales Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Assistant to join our building materials and hardware shop. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their inquiries, and promoting sales of our wide range of products, including stone chips, sand, cement, hardware materials, sanitary products, pipes, and pipe fittings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide expert product knowledge and guidance to customers based on their needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point of sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor and replenish stock as needed.
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries with empathy and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Assist in visual merchandising and store displays to enhance product visibility.
- Provide after-sales support, including returns and exchanges.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a retail sales role, preferably in the building materials or hardware industry.
- Minimum Class 10 pass, Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of building materials and hardware products is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing product offerings and store policies.
