Subject Matter Expert

**About the role**:
We’re searching for a talented and passionate Subject Matter Expert having expertise on cloud network and security technologies to join our CoE - Managed IT Services, which is responsible for remotely managing, securing and supporting Cloud & IT infrastructure for our customers around the world.

Your will provide design, engineering, configuration, administration, maintenance and support of network and security infrastructure deployed in the customer. You will be required to handle multiple assignments concurrently, leveraging experience skills in handling complex environments and coordinating task among teams. You will be required to work in 24x7 shift rotations to ensure service availability to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage Cloud network, load balancers, firewalls, security rules in the customer environment
- Manage operational maintenance, security, and availability of infrastructure
- Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex issues, troubleshoot and resolve to restore services
- Perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as part of problem management
- Assist in analyzing historical usage for tracking and trending
- Identify performance bottleneck and suggest for the improvements
- Implement capacity improvement plan
- Develop and maintain the Technical Disaster Recovery Plan. Provide technical support during disaster. Execute Technical Disaster Recovery plan during DR and DR drill.
- Remediate security vulnerabilities identified by IT Security team
- Prepare and manage HLD & LLD, process and technical documentation

**About you**:
This is a customer-facing role and is ideal for an excellent communicator with a positive outlook and a get-the-job done attitude. Ideally you should have 5-8 years relevant experience in large scale deployment having minimum 10 years of industry experience. You should be ready to work in customer time zone and during off business hours to carryout changes.
- Qualifications & Work Experience:

- BE/B.Tech/MCA/ B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science)
- Azure architect, GCP architect, Cloud network security specialist, CCIE (R&S / datacenter / security), firewall certification
- Experience on designing, implementing, and managing large scale Cloud environment
- In-depth knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, DNS/DHCP, IP Address Management
- Experience in managing LAN/WAN/WLAN
- Good experience in design, managing/integrating cloud networking & security (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Having hand-on experience on configuration of cloud network and security configurations
- Experience of implementing & managing cloud resources using DevOps
- Good hands-on experience on installation and configuration of network (switches, routers) and security devices (firewalls) and network services (like NTP, RADIUS/TACACS/AAA etc.)
- Basic Knowledge on any Scripting language like PowerShell, Python, etc.
- Should have knowledge of ITIL processes. Experience working in ITIL tools like Service Now etc.
- Experience working with some or all technologies below:

- Azure/AWS/GCP
- Terraform, DevOps
- Hub & spoke, cloud connectivity, VWAN etc.

Skill Set:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of information security standards and compliance
- Knowledge of vulnerability remediation
- Ability to lead troubleshooting for issues both known and unknown across domain
- Proven ability to provide technical recommendations to solve short
- and long-term issues
- Proven ability to create technical design documentation using MS Visio

Understanding and experience in working within an ITIL framework operational environment
