- Job Responsibilities:

- Organize, coordinate, and supervise Fabrication activities to ensure an effective and efficient operation that meets safety, quality and fabrication standards.
- Lead, organize and plan activities performed at shop and vendor end, Co-ordination with various departments for completion of job as per defined Schedule and maintain progress.
- Assigns work to personnel to attain objectives using knowledge of processes, company policies, execution schedules, work orders, equipment capacity and employee capabilities.
- Readily perceives and effectively responds to schedules and activities flow essential to supervise highly productive, cost-effective, quality-oriented operations.
- Responsible for resource Planning, materials management, and shop floor supervision
- Co-ordinate with third party inspection agency during all stages of production.
- Responsible for implementation of Safety and Quality Management in fabrication area
- Capturing Non-Conformance Cost. Analyze and take Corrective Actions
- Responsible for compliance with safety and housekeeping requirements.
- Set department goals and develop outline for achievement.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
- 5-8 years minimum supervisory experience from heavy fabrication industry.(Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, skid piping assembly and casting welding ).
- Good Verbal and written communication skills.
- Read and interpret Drawings and WPS/PQR according to ASME section IX.
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment required.
- Proficient in welding processes like GMAW/GTAW/SMAW/SAW and knowledge of various materials.
- Familiar with NDT processes
- Computer Proficiency in MS office, SAP, Auto Cad etc.
