Prepare and operate CNC HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL Turning lathe or HBM Milling machine machines to perform tasks such as Milling, Turning, threading drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and Inspect and Adjust working for desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Record all measured dimension in inspection report.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Inspect parts during manufacturing and maintain consistent quality.
- Check the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly in compliance with quality requirements.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Make Fixtures and clamps when required.
- Write CNC Programme for VTL & Horizontal Lathe Machine
- Perform secondary ops (tap, deburr, etc.) Only jobs being on machines.
- Select appropriate tools for Machining jobs.
- Ensure 5S Implementation through Machine shop.
- Record and maintain Shift Log sheet.
- Ensure Measuring instruments calibration record in VTL/Horizontal Lathe machine.
- Prepare CNC programme in Macro format and canned cycles.
- Lead machining works on shift as per supervisor schedule work plan.
- Ensure uninterpreted production works in shift.
- Ensure the consumable usage.
- Ensure Daily maintenance check list and breakdown report to maintenance dept.
- Provide indent for Machining consumable/tools requirements.
- Hand over completed job to next level per Job router.
