Job opening for a Master Tailor (alterations and measurements) for a Men's Fashion Boutique Brand in Bangalore

Junior Masters and above are welcome to apply. Basic Tailoring and Measurement taking knowledge is necessary. You will be trained in our methodology and expected to be a quick learner.

Primary job will be in Retail Boutique, with backend operations of alteration initially.

Depending on the skill set, you can be promoted to the factory floor to manage your own team after you have established yourself with customer understanding and factory processes.

Tailors use their knowledge of garment construction and style to fit, alter, and create garments to client specifications. They read patterns, use measuring tools, and work with different fabrics and embellishments in the course of their work. Experienced tailors know how to hand-sew and machine-sew garments

**Responsibilities**:

- Customer Measurements and Alterations
- Customer Trial and Marking Garments
- Perform Alterations
- Press Clothing
- Pattern Making and Clothes Creation

Tailor Skills and Qualifications

Tailors work with a variety of customers and fabrics. They need good measurement and communication skills to conduct fittings, and fashion design and sewing skills to make and alter garments.

- Communication skills - tailors need excellent verbal communication skills to effectively and sensitively advise clients on the fit and style of garments
