**Responsibilities**:
Manage small team of employees engaged in performing routine clerical or processing tasks
Advise and resolve non-routine issues within cash & trade operations
Manage, evaluate performance and make recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, staffing etc. of team
Recommend new work procedures that will increase operating efficiency
Ensure team meets performance and quality expectations of assigned tasks
**Qualifications**:
7-10 years of experience in a related role
Demonstrated experience with cash management processing and transaction services
Effective verbal, written, communication and analytical skills
Effective management, influencing and relationship skills
**Education**:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
**Key Deliverables**:
1. Has in-depth knowledge of the Cash and Trade business
2. Processing of day to day transactions as per local operating procedures.
3. Quick learner; comfortable with and able to manage in complex systems environment and associated development process and ensure service quality is maintained
4. Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal parameters as well as company policies and procedures, Strong focus on control and compliance
5. Knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to understand how financial transactions affect the operating systems/GL
6. Product expertise - Knowledge of SWIFT and other payment platform would be an added advantage
7. Familiarity with the end-to-end Cash and Trade transaction lifecycle
8. Interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to lead transparently at an advanced level
9. Analytical, and investigations, Problem solving skills
10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills
11. Research, identify and recommend technology capabilities that enable the reduction of client inquiries and manual touch points
12. Research current treasury and client operational trends and suggest solutions
13. Work in partnership with vendors, technology, and client operations teams to prototype innovative solutions
14. Propose and implement solutions that will increase operating efficiency and lead to an improved client experience
