We are seeking an experienced **Copy Editor** to join our team and contribute to the development of educational resources for Grades 1 to 8.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Compliance**: Ensure all content adheres to **NEP 2020** and **NCF 2023** guidelines.
- **Quality Standards**: Maintain publishing standards specific to school textbooks, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and age-appropriate.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with authors, designers, and the editorial team to meet project deadlines.
- **Product Development**: Proactively suggest improvements and enhancements to the educational products.
- **Networking**: Utilize connections within the publishing industry to facilitate resource acquisition and process improvement.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Educational Background**: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, Education, Journalism, or a related field.
- **Experience**: A minimum of **3-5 years of experience** in copy editing, specifically in the **publishing industry** or for **school-level educational content**.
- **Knowledge**:

- Thorough understanding of **NEP 2020** and **NCF 2023**.
- Expertise in proofreading, grammar, and formatting.
- **Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with publishing tools and software is an advantage.
