**A. Position Summary**
- The position is based at Nashik.

**B. Key Responsibilities**:
**Testing of Rubber Properties**:

- Conduct physical and chemical tests on raw rubber, compounds, and finished rubber products to determine properties such as tensile strength, elasticity, hardness, elongation, compression set, and abrasion resistance.
- Use specialized testing equipment such as rheometers, hardness testers (Shore A & D), tensile testing machines, viscometers, and thermal analyzers.

**Rubber Compound Inspection**:

- Inspect the quality of rubber compounds during and after production to ensure that they meet technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Analyze rubber batches for any defects or inconsistencies in material composition, curing, or performance.

**Quality Control & Compliance**:

- Verify that all rubber products conform to quality standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, DIN) and company specifications.
- Ensure that testing procedures comply with established safety and quality standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis of any quality issues identified during inspections and suggest corrective actions.

**Recording and Reporting**:

- Accurately document and record test results, observations, and any deviations from standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection and testing data for future reference and audits.
- Prepare and submit reports on testing outcomes to the Quality Control Manager or Lab Supervisor.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Provide feedback and collaborate with production teams to improve the quality of rubber compounds and finished products.
- Identify opportunities to enhance testing methods and improve overall product quality.

**Sampling & Batch Testing**:

- Collect samples of rubber compounds and products from production batches for testing.
- Perform batch testing to verify that each production run meets quality control requirements before approval for dispatch.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Ensure the proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel and assist in troubleshooting.

**Health & Safety**:

- Follow all health and safety procedures when handling rubber materials, chemicals, and testing equipment.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and goggles when necessary.

**C. Other Skills**
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or training in materials science, chemistry, or a related field is a plus
- Prior experience in quality control or materials testing in the rubber industry is highly preferred.

**D. Technical Skills**:

- Familiarity with rubber testing equipment and methods.
- Knowledge of testing standards for rubber materials (e.g., ASTM, ISO).
- Basic understanding of rubber compounding, curing, and properties.

**E. Functional Area**:

- Production, Manufacturing, Maintenance

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
