Junior Interior Designer

**Job description**

As a Junior Interior Designer, your main responsibility will be to assist Senior Interior Designers in planning and designing spaces that meet clients' needs and preferences. You will participate in all phases of the design process, from concept development and space planning to furniture selection and material sourcing. You will also collaborate with other team members, including architects, contractors, and vendors, to ensure the successful execution of projects.

**Role & responsibilities**
- Assist Senior Interior Designers in creating innovative and functional design concepts for various types of spaces
- Participate in the selection and arrangement of furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes
- Assist in developing detailed interior design plans, including 2D and 3D renderings
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects
- Research and stay current on industry trends, materials, and technologies
- Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Assist in creating and presenting design proposals to clients
- Undertake design project from concept to completion
- Define project requirements and schedule during the brief
- Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
- Produce sample and “mood products”
- Supervise work progress
- Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
- Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
- B.Arch/B.Tech/Diploma or BSc degree in interior Design or similar
- Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
- Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
- Excellent portfolio of previous works
- Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
- Communication and presentation skills
- Project management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
