Financial Analysis- Associate

The CBB Finance team in Bengaluru supports the Consumer and Business Banking segment by offering Financial Reporting, Planning, Modelling and Analysis services to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance teams. This position of “Associate” will be part of Real Estate Finance team. This position would run financial models for evaluation of funding decisions and perform analysis on branch performance with end to end ownership of the process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Own the financial modelling process for different funding decisions to Open new branches, consolidation of branches, Purchase vs Lease options and Relocation of branches.
- Develop strong understanding of the models and key metrics that drive the decision making process
- Analysis on the historical performance of branches to update the assumptions and key inputs to the model and have a strong reasoning behind the targets assigned to new branches, decision to consolidate or relocate a branch as well as renew lease of a branch
- Summarizing the drivers behind key assumptions and impact of the funding decisions to the CFO for evaluating investment decisions
- P&L impact analysis of funding transactions like sale of branch, sub-lease transactions etc. requiring an understanding of accounting impact on books and tax implications
- Continuous focus on improving and maintaining high degree of accuracy. Support any standard reports as well as adhoc requests reporting requests
- Present financial results to leaders in the organization. Constant focus on automating manual processes

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Qualified CA/ MBA or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Planning or modelling
- Good communication and strong excel skills.
- Advance excel skill including VBA
- Working knowledge of Essbase
- Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations
- Team oriented, inquisitive, critical thinker who anticipates questions from internal clients and senior management
- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
- Experience in Tableau would be an added advantage.
