**Job Title**: Lab Instructor - Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

**Location**: SSN College of Engineering, Chennai
**Department**: Electronics and Communication Engineering

**Job Summary**:
To assist in the effective delivery of laboratory sessions in the ECE department. The lab instructor will support faculty members and students during lab sessions, manage laboratory equipment, and ensure safety and discipline.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and set up lab equipment and experiments prior to lab sessions.
- Assist faculty members during laboratory classes.
- Guide and support students in conducting experiments.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, tools, and instruments.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment where applicable.
- Ensure laboratory cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety norms.
- Maintain documentation such as logbooks, calibration records, and maintenance schedules.
- Participate in department meetings, technical workshops, and training programs.
- Provide support for research and student project work when needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with ECE lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, microcontrollers, DSP kits, etc.
- Familiarity with lab software/tools (MATLAB, Xilinx, Multisim, etc.) is a plus.

**Desired Skills**:

- Strong practical knowledge of electronics and communication systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage students and maintain discipline during labs.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
