**Overview**: As a Production Supervisor in our packaging machine manufacturing company, you will play a critical role in overseeing the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will lead a team of production workers, manage resources effectively, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Team Leadership**: Supervise and lead a team of production workers, including machine operators and assemblers, to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
- **Production Oversight**: Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, efficiency targets, and safety regulations. Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize output. Understanding the production plan
- Allocating jobs
- Ensuring quality standards and design is followed
- Ensuring timely work from technicians
- Ensuring that there is no wastage on floor
- Cooperating and coordinating with all departments - mainly store, production, inspection and dispatch
- Reporting on daily basis regarding progress of production schedule

2. **Resource Management**: Coordinate with the production planning team to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets and customer demands.

3. **Training and Development**: Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the production team.

4. **Quality Assurance**: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high product quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality requirements.

5. **Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct safety training sessions and promote awareness of safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries.

6. **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation. Generate performance reports and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

7. **Communication and Collaboration**: Liaise with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to coordinate production activities and resolve cross-functional issues. Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and team members to ensure alignment on production goals and priorities.

8. **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the production department. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

9. **Problem Solving**: Proactively address production challenges and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize disruptions and maintain production continuity. Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely equipment maintenance and repairs.
