**Job Title: Senior Accountant - Construction Industry**

**Location**: Ajmer

**Reports To**: Account Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- **Project Accounting**: Oversee and manage project-specific accounting tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- **Cost Management**: Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses. Ensure costs are allocated accurately and efficiently.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Prepare for and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- **Reconciliation**: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations, and verify the accuracy of financial data.
- **Internal Controls**: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- **Reporting**: Generate and present detailed financial reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and project performance.
- **Support**: Provide financial insights and recommendations to project managers and senior leadership. Assist with budgeting and financial planning for future projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices, including job costing, billing, and contract management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with ERP systems used in the construction industry.
- 5+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.a
- Understanding of construction contracts and construction-related financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

- Bachelor's (preferred)
