SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University is pleased to invite applications for Faculty positions at Anil Surendra Modi School Of Commerce (ASMSOC) - Mumbai in Accounting & Finance Area.The incumbent shall be responsible for Teaching at Graduate level in Commerce & Management along with Co-ordination, Development of respective Programme of the university.Qualifying Criteria – PROFESSOR: a. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline. ANDMinimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals ANDMinimum Research Score of 120 ANDSuccessfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.b. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 3 years shall be equivalent to Associate Professor.ORIn the event, the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant disciplineORA Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.ANDc. The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and 10- 15 years’ managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.d. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.Qualifying Criteria – ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: a. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.ANDMinimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journalsANDMinimum Research Score of 75b. Minimum of 8 years of full-time experience in teaching/research/industry* out of which at least 3 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.ORIn the event, that the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant disciplineORA Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two-year full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.ANDc. With a minimum of 55% in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant disciplineANDb. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journalsc. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable :i) Ph.D. preferred with 2 years of experience.ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
