**Position Overview**: The Retail Store Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the store's daily operations. This role involves assisting customers, managing merchandise, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- **Sales and Merchandising**:

- Assist customers with purchasing decisions.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is visually appealing.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and marketing materials.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth store operations.
- **Operational Support**:

- Open and close the store as required.
- Follow store policies, procedures, and security measures.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking shipments.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift and carry items up to [weight, e.g., 30 pounds].
- Perform repetitive tasks such as scanning, lifting, and stocking.
