**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Bug Identification & Reporting**: Identify and report software defects, issues, and bugs while maintaining clear documentation for developers to address.
- **Test Case Creation**: Assist in creating and executing detailed test cases and test scripts to evaluate product functionality, performance, and compatibility.
- **Regression Testing**: Execute regression testing to ensure new features do not negatively affect existing functionality.
- **Collaboration with Developers**: Work closely with the development team to understand the requirements and provide feedback on functionality, usability, and user experience.
- **Testing Documentation**: Document all testing activities, outcomes, and issues encountered. Prepare reports that outline test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
- **Adherence to QA Standards**: Follow established testing procedures, guidelines, and best practices to maintain consistent and high-quality testing processes.
- **Continuous Learning**: Participate in training and workshops to improve testing skills and knowledge of testing tools and methodologies.

**Required Skills**:
**Technical Skills**
- **Manual Testing**: Basic understanding of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- **Bug Tracking & Reporting**: Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as **JIRA**, **Trello**, or **Bugzilla**.
- **Basic Knowledge of SDLC**: Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the role of QA in different phases of the process.
- **Test Case Design**: Ability to assist in creating test cases and test plans for product validation.
- **Basic Knowledge of SQL**: Ability to query databases to validate data and perform basic data integrity checks.
- **Version Control**: Familiarity with basic version control concepts (e.g., Git) is a plus.

**Tools / Frameworks**
- **Bug Tracking**: JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello
- **Testing Tools**: Selenium, Postman (for API testing), Katalon Studio (optional for future growth)
- **Version Control**: Git
- **Database**: Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
- **Test Documentation**: TestRail, Google Sheets/Excel

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Educational Background**: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Exposure to Automation Testing**: Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
- **Understanding of Agile Methodologies**: Experience or knowledge of working in an Agile development environment.
- **Previous QA Experience (Optional)**: Any previous internship or hands-on experience in manual QA is a plus but not mandatory.
- **Knowledge of APIs**: Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- **Familiarity with Performance Testing Tools**: Knowledge of tools like JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing is a plus.
- **Understanding of User Experience (UX)**: A basic understanding of UX principles and how they relate to product quality and testing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
