**Job Description: Python Automation Engineer (3-5 years experience)**

**Position Title**: Python Automation Engineer

**Experience**: 3-5 Years

**Job Type**: Full-Time and Contract

**Location-**Blr/Pune/ Coimbatore, HYD

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform API testing (both manual and automated) to ensure APIs are functional, secure, and performant.
- Write, maintain, and execute test cases in pytest framework to verify code quality and software behavior.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand project requirements and provide timely feedback on quality and test automation.
- Perform manual testing when needed for UI and complex or edge cases.
- Work with MySQL databases to verify data integrity, and write SQL queries for test data setup and validation.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
- Participate in daily standups and sprint planning meetings, contributing insights on testing and automation efforts.
- Continuously improve the test automation process to ensure efficiency and scalability.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong experience with **Python** programming and writing automation scripts.
- Expertise in **API testing**, with hands-on experience in **manual and automated API testing** using tools such as Postman.
- Proficient in writing automated tests using **pytest** framework.
- Strong working knowledge of **MySQL**, including writing complex SQL queries to interact with databases.
- Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.
- Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Knowledge of other automation tools or frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., BitBucket).

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of experience in automation testing, particularly in Python and API testing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹3,500.00 - ₹4,000.00 per day
