**JOB TITLE - Quantity Surveyor**

**LOCATION - Vizag Vignan Institute**

**Experience - 5 to 6 years**

**Job Roles**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Evaluate and monitor project costs to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Prepare and analyze cost reports to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
- Negotiate contracts and work schedules with contractors and suppliers.
- Assess contractor bids and make recommendations for awarding contracts.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to plan and execute construction projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Conduct risk, value management, and cost control during the project life cycle.
- Perform value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present regular cost and valuation reports to senior management.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation.
- Handle any contractual and legal issues that may arise during the project.
