**Position Overview**:
As an Accounts and Finance Executive Intern at GoRoomGo, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance team in managing day-to-day financial operations. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in accounting and financial management, exposure to industry-standard tools and software, and an opportunity to develop critical skills in the finance field.
**Responsibilities**
- **Assisting in Financial Transactions**: Help track and record daily financial transactions, ensuring they are accurately entered into accounting systems.
- **Invoice Management**: Assist in generating and processing invoices, managing payments, and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Assist in reconciling bank statements, ensuring that discrepancies are resolved, and providing insights into financial standing.
- **Expense Tracking**: Help with the tracking of company expenses, categorizing them, and ensuring they align with the company budget.
- **Financial Reporting**: Support in preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- **Compliance and Documentation**: Help ensure financial operations comply with legal standards and company policies by maintaining proper documentation.
- **Budgeting Assistance**: Assist the finance team with budget preparation and monitoring, comparing actual vs. planned financial performance.
- **Support Audit Process**: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and insights as required.
- **Other Ad-hoc Tasks**: Perform other finance-related tasks and administrative support as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of financial functions/formulas is a plus).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, etc.) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
