Title - Account Assistant

*Note - English speaking is mandatory since this is UK based client

**Position Overview**

This role will support all members of the Finance team within Atech Cloud and take on their own responsibilities for a wide range of accounting and Finance tasks.

This is a critical role within the team and will be directly visible within the wider business. This at all levels and by all other teams.

The successful person will be; a self-starter, modest but ambitious, polite, well-mannered, a team player, a good communicator, able to think independently and do what is needed to ensure the highest levels of work are produced to often tight deadlines.

A keen eye for detail and good process. Someone who easily smiles but brings a solid professionalism to everything that they do.

**Job Responsibilities (but not limited to)**
- General management accounting supporting day-to-day accounting and month-end processes.
- Preparation, maintenance and control of; prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, other debtors and other balance sheet control accounts
- Bank reconciliations, including resolution of issues.
- Preparation of weekly cashflows and support in business cash management
- Preparation, checking and processing of supplier payment runs.
- Checking, querying, compilation and posting of payroll, taxes and other benefits
- Sales tax and government returns including some UK company secretarial submissions.
- General journal calculation, preparation and posting.
- Support in the collation and preparation of monthly review packs for management
- Ad hoc analysis and project work supporting the team and management.

**Additional**
- Support in the preparation and submission of Quarterly VAT return
- Processing monthly/quarterly HMRC PAYE & VAT payments
- To ensure that Atech’s financial systems are robust, compliant and support current and future growth
- Maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company

**Company Structure and alignment**
- Reporting to CFO
- Provides day-to-day functions within the finance department.

**Competencies**

The Finance Assistant should be part qualified, studying to complete a relevant professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA).

As the business environment is constantly evolving, you will be expected to continuously update your learning and knowledge throughout your career.

Previous experience of Monthly Microsoft CSP/NCE Azure and Licence Billing would be an advantage, along with knowledge of Microsoft Rebates and Incentives

**Systems Used - (system training will be provided as required)**
- User of Xero, Sage, Dext, Quotewerks, Fox Pro, Connectwise
- Microsoft Office, including Teams (strong excel skills required)

Innovative, agile to change, data accuracy, punctual (deadlines), good communicator on all levels across the business (internally) and externally to suppliers/clients, approachable, fast learner and self-starter, can work independently and as part of a team, sense of humour

**Location: Ahmedabad**

**Hours: UK Shift, work from office.**

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
