**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Business Development**:
- Identify and target potential clients in the food industry (e.g., Biscuit manufacturers, processors, distributors) who require raw materials for production.
- Develop a robust sales pipeline by researching and identifying new market opportunities and trends in the food raw material sector.
- Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert leads into long-term customers.
- **Team Handling/Management** -Ensure each team member understands their role, whether they are in sales, marketing, customer success, or technical support. Clear responsibilities reduce overlap and confusion.
- **Specialization: In B2B, specialization can be highly beneficial. Assign team members to focus on different aspects, such as lead generation, closing deals, or client retention.2. Communication and Collaboration**:
- **Regular Meetings**: Conduct frequent meetings to keep the team aligned with goals, progress, and roadblocks. Use these meetings to gather feedback and maintain open communication
2. **Sales Strategy & Execution**:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets in various segments, such as bakery, dairy, snacks, beverages, frozen foods, etc.
- Present, promote, and sell products to existing and prospective clients using a consultative approach.

- Client Relationship Management:
- **Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their business requirements and offering appropriate solutions.**:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
- Conduct regular follow-up and client visits to assess ongoing needs and provide after-sales support.
- Market & Product Knowledge:
- **Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the food and beverage industry.**:
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client requirements or industry trends.
- Negotiation & Contract Management:
- **Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals with clients.**:
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., supply chain, production, finance) to ensure timely delivery of products and adherence to client agreements.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- **Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract negotiations.**:
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.**Key Requirements**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Sales, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- **Experience**:
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the food, Pharma and Distillery industry raw material.
- Experience selling food ingredients, additives, or raw materials to manufacturers or processors are highly preferred.
- **Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Technical understanding of raw materials used in the food industry (e.g., emulsifiers, preservatives, flavorings).
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to customize solutions for diverse clients.
- Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines.
