**Basic Required Skills**:

- Good time management skills
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- A diploma/degree or equivalent in related field
- A degree in construction management or estimating, or related field experience

**Analytical and math skills - **Estimators should be fluent in mathematics and accounting, and have in-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods.

**Detail-oriented - **Estimators need to be able to identify cost drivers quickly and make sure that when one cost changes, they know how it will affect other costs related to the project.

**Proficiency with cost estimating softwares**:

- Estimators should be proficient with cost estimating software.

**Analogous estimation**:

- The analogous, or comparative, estimation technique compares similar past project requirements to create an estimate for your current project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyzing project requirements
- Conducting material assessments
- Evaluating production processes
- Gathering market prices
- Preparing detailed cost estimates
- Identifying design and construct ability issues
- Defining more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project
- Liaising with other departments, sub-contractors and clients to ensure deadlines are met
- Preparing & Managing bills of quantities, quotations and scope of works
- Reviewing Subcontractor, Supplier and Consultants performance

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Quantifying materials and labor requirements
- Preparing supporting documents for tenders
- Taking off quantities from plans and preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Carrying out site survey
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
