Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation. **You Are**: You are a dedicated and experienced accounting professional with a strong background in accounts payable, preferably within a multinational corporation (MNC) environment. You possess a university degree in accounting and have accumulated at least 8 years of hands-on experience. Your technical accounting skills are complemented by your proficiency with SAP and your high level of computer literacy, particularly with Excel. You bring a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities to the table, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work. **What You will Be Doing**: - Processing international supplier invoices for various countries within an ERP environment. - Posting supplier invoices, making payments, and allocating payments against invoices within the SAP accounting system. - Uploading payments of supplier invoices from SAP to the banking software used by Synopsys. - Ensuring all supplier invoices received are proper VAT invoices and that VAT is accounted for correctly. - Preparing and posting cost center allocation/reclassification entries, if required, for invoice postings. - Preparing month-end accounts payable accruals and advising the GL team for monthly accruals. - Performing routine supplier account clearance and maintaining vendor aging as a current liability. - Maintaining the supplier invoice processing tracker and issue log. - Handling any other ad hoc duties as required. **The Impact You Will Have**: - Ensuring accurate and timely processing of international supplier invoices, contributing to the smooth financial operations of Synopsys. - Maintaining compliance with VAT regulations and ensuring correct VAT accounting for all supplier invoices. - Supporting accurate month-end financial reporting by preparing and posting necessary accruals and cost allocations. - Enhancing vendor relationships through efficient account clearance and maintaining accurate vendor aging records. - Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance team by maintaining up-to-date processing trackers and issue logs. - Providing critical support for ad hoc financial tasks and projects, demonstrating flexibility and initiative. **What You will Need**: - University degree in accounting or a related field. - At least 8 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably within an MNC setup. - Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency with SAP. - High level of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge of Excel. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus. **Who You Are**: - A sound team player with a "can-do" attitude. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Possesses strong initiative and flexibility, and is multi-task oriented. - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. - Customer-focused with excellent communication skills. **The Team You will Be A Part Of**: You will be part of a dynamic finance team based in Bangalore, reporting to the Finance Manager.
